What started out as hope and optimism after being referred to Dr. Tassone turned into an experience of extreme frustration and disappointment. Firstly, he stopped taking insurance which drastically increased patient costs. This was done under the rationale that he would be able to spend more time with his patients, but that was not at all my experience as 5-10 minute visits continued to be the norm. Next, you can imagine my surprise when two other people I referred to him, heard the EXACT same spiel and metaphors that initially helped me to feel heard and understood by him. This may not have been unusual had we not all been experiencing different symptoms and been at different stage of life (perimenopause vs post-menopause). Finally, and the most compelling reason for me to write this review, is the experience of my mother whom I had also referred to him when I initially began working with him. After prescribing her a myriad of hormones, she began bleeding (she has been post-menopausal for years now). For weeks his office minimized her experience and told her to carry on with the hormones and to call back if it persisted. Well it did, to which Dr. Tassone’s solution was she get a CT scan and contact her previous OBGYN provider. Now, she is being diagnosed with endometriosis CAUSED BY THE HORMONES SHE WAS PRESCRIBED AND ENCOURAGED TO CONTINUE TAKING BY DR. TASSONE. Dr. Tassone also suggested she request a biopsy of the cells as they can be potentially cancerous. Did he take responsibility for any of this? Nope - simply pushed her away to her previous provider without even following up. The incompetence of this facility doesn’t stop at him though. When she called for her medical records to be transferred to the other OBGYN, the staff couldn’t even bother to ensure that her CT scans were faxed as requested. Save your money, save your time, and save your health by finding a competent practitioner.

Stop looking for help from doctors who don't want to listen. Seriously. Get started with Dr. Tassone and get on the road to getting what you need. It's exhausting waiting for others to catch up with what you already know about yourself and your symptoms. Read his book, The Hormone Balance Bible, and set an appointment in person or telehealth. Go!

After being told by my doctor that the symptoms I had were to be expected despite being on HRT due to my age, and that my only options were to take antidepressants for the night sweats and ibuprofen for the joint pain, it was nice to actually be validated by Dr. Tassone and that there were other options to alleviate my symptoms.

Telehealth visit for my annual hormone panel. Dr Tassone gets right to the heart of the issues which I appreciate. And he doesn’t normalize pain, which I’ve experienced way too often. I feel he seeks to help women know their bodies. Would highly recommend.

He suggested a myomectomy and Ruined any other chances I had. He lied to me. That was a Pointless surgery. And then you have an attitude? No,shawn. Comply unacceptable and you should be looked at by the board. All to get paid. Didn't care what the consequences would be for ME! Same heavy periods as well. Nothing he said that would be repaired actually happened. If anything it's worse. No words.

I have enjoyed working with Dr Tassone as he has helped me navigate menopause. His whole patient approach is refreshing and I finally feel heard. After only 3 months of HRT, I am feeling better, more focused, more energized, and many other symptoms have improved. I enjoy the adjunct information in the form of podcasts and have been impressed with his dedication to women's health. He really does care and is a pioneer and advocate for a long-ignored demographic. Thank you, Dr Tassone.

Visit was great, only thing is I’m very sensitive to strong smells which in turn causes migraines and the burning candles were so strong that I left with a migraine. Other than that Dr. Tassone and staff were very nice.

Dr. Tassone is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and extremely experienced and knowledgeable! He listens to all of your concerns and addresses them thoroughly. Besides treating my menopausal hormone issues over the years, he performed my needed hysterectomy. He explained all of the different options and made me feel comfortable with my decision. He eased all of my anxiety regarding the surgery and I am amazed with the outcome and recovery! Also, I can’t be more appreciative of his staff and their care and concerns for me as well. I feel truly blessed to have Dr. Tassone looking after my wellbeing!
